NF CE Dance questions - Guild Wars Forums

After reading through wiki and some of the odler threads here (which are more full of complaining than anything else >.>) I still don't have an answer.

I have all three campaigns. Only Nf is the Collector's Edition.

Does the /dancenew apply to all my characters? Only to the Elona-born characters? Only to Paragon and Dervish?

It only applies to the paragon and dervish.

Oh, and a related-ish question. Can I upgrade my current account (with all campaigns) with a CE key ? Or will I have to make another account?

You can upgrade, but there wouldn't be any further benefits in it than the CE dances.

Edit: And of course the miniature Kuunavang with Factions CE.

Any keycode can be added to an existing account, as long as it is not the same version of Guild Wars, aka. Game of the Year and Game of the Year together.

A little trick I like to use with my chars: type /dancenew to get them started with the disco ball, then type /dance to get the regular dance with the silly ball. I hate the CE dance, which is why I do this.

Yes, and, when you have Factions CE, chars w/ Factions professions (rit and sin) will be able to do their special dances as well when you type /dancenew.

And with Prophecies CE (very rare any more) you get Divine Aura with all emotes. And if you have CE on all campaigns, you can have both Divine Aura and the special dances active at the same time on your chars with Factions professions by typing /dance and then /dancenew, but not with chars w/ NF professions.

I've found one Prophecies CE (sealed in the box) on ebay. It's at $200USD right now with 11 bids and a little over seven hours left in the auction. The seller will ship for free if the bidding goes to $250 (likely) and will include Factions CE if it goes to $400 (possible). The last time I watched an auction of Prophecies CE (about three months ago), it went for more than $300. This seller says he/she has seen it on ebay for over $500. Interestingly, the picture displayed looks odd to me because it's not tall enough to be the box, yet it's the artwork for the box, and all the items in the box are listed as part of the deal. My inclination, in that case, would be to write the seller and ask just exactly what they're using for display, what it's relationship to the actual deal is and for very clearly defined specs of the deal.

Yeah... and same with the exorbitant amount some ppl will pay for the mini panda. It doesn't even get up on it's hind feet for its battle stance. Pffffffft.

I got Prophecies CE when it was regular price, so I really can't say what I would do. I suspect now that everyone knows GW 2 is coming out in a couple of years, the price may go down. I notice the first one I listed above actually didn't go any higher than $200. That could be a sign of things to come.
